Key objectivesTo provide an integrated solution to commemorate the joy and strengths of Hong Kong by creating and curating pre-recorded experiences and live panels to represent the city at October’s WRLDCITY Festival celebrating big cities, their citizens, culture and experiences.
DeliverablesMorning Studio curated two live-panel discussions for the World stage and three pre-recorded sessions for the City stage, from the event’s inception and content and creative development, to the management of the live event itself. Two videos were also produced for the Experience stage to promote Hong Kong's culture. A full page of event coverage were published in the SCMP’s daily newspaper, and an online version on SCMP.com, offering a summary and the key takeaways from the sessions for those who were unable to attend.
Results World stage (live sessions) & City stage (pre-recorded sessions): 2 live-panel and 3 pre-recorded discussions
were successfully broadcast to a global audience
during the event.
Hong Kong was the only city out of all the top world cities to pull off a quality live in-person event production in the midst of Covid.
Morning Studio led the event content creation and produced the entire discussion outline for all of the top-level panellists.
Experience stage (cultural videos): 2 videos attracted more than over 51,000 video views across SCMP platforms.
